Radiesse Case Study: A Mirror Photo Booth Brand Activation in NYC

Mirror photo booth brand activation for Radiesse at the Global Longevity Summit at Virgin Hotels New York, built into a custom arch set with a print pickup slot
The Radiesse set at Virgin Hotels New York, with our mirror booth and print slot built into the wall.

For the Radiesse Global Longevity Summit at Virgin Hotels New York on October 16, 2026, we ran a mirror photo booth brand activation that didn’t look like a photo booth at all. The mirror sat inside a custom arch set, the prints dropped out of a slot in the wall, and every screen a guest touched, from the first prompt to the page on their phone, was in Radiesse colours.

Here’s how it came together, what our software did, and what the numbers looked like.

At a glance

  • Brand: Radiesse
  • Event: Radiesse Global Longevity Summit, Friday, October 16, 2026
  • Venue: Virgin Hotels New York, NoMad, Manhattan
  • Set: a custom illuminated arch, designed and fabricated by Radiesse’s production agency
  • Our part: the mirror photo booth with LiDAR auto-start, our own photo booth software, handwritten notes on every print, the branded guest landing page, printing and on-site support
  • Hours: load-in and a brand content shoot on Thursday, then doors at 8:45 AM to 10 PM on summit day
  • Result: 201 sessions, 138 prints, 53 photos texted, 77 QR scans

The brief: a mirror booth that disappears into the set

Radiesse’s production agency came to us in June with a clear idea. Radiesse wanted a full-length mirror experience at the centre of its summit, framed by an illuminated arch, with nothing that looked like rented equipment. The booth had to live inside their build, so the set was designed around our hardware.

That meant a lot of measuring. We gave the agency’s fabricators the mirror’s dimensions and corner radius, its power draw, and the printer’s exact size and paper-slot height, so they could cut a 2 x 8 inch opening in the wall. On the day, guests saw a “Pick up photo here” slot beside the mirror, and the printer stayed out of sight.

The guest journey, built in our software

We run our own photo booth software, so we could shape the flow around Radiesse’s design rather than fit the brand into a stock template. The agency’s design team supplied the artwork and animations, and we built them into the booth.

  • No buttons to hunt for. A LiDAR sensor we programmed for this build detects a guest stepping up to the mirror and starts the experience on its own. Animated prompts guide them from there, so no one has to work out where to tap.
  • Branded animation at every step. The attract loop, countdown and processing screens were Radiesse-designed videos, played full-screen in portrait.
  • Background removal. Each guest was cut out of the room and placed on Radiesse’s background artwork, true to life with no stylising.
  • A handwritten note. After the photo, guests wrote a message to themselves right on the mirror’s screen, with a brand ambassador on hand to guide them, and the note became part of their photo.
  • A print in seconds. A 4 x 6 inch print on Radiesse’s overlay, note included, came out of the wall slot.
  • Digital delivery. Guests could text the photo to themselves, email it, or scan a QR code.

We also talked through an AI transformation version, where the whole image is restyled. The team chose background removal so every photo stayed true to the guest, which suited a summit about looking and feeling like yourself.

A landing page in Radiesse colours

A text or QR scan from the booth doesn’t land on a generic gallery. It opens a landing page we build for each event, and this one was Radiesse from top to bottom.

  • Brand colour: Radiesse Midnight Blue (Pantone 534 C) as the page background, with the Radiesse logo up top
  • Call to action: a thank-you screen asking guests to tag @Radiesse when they post
  • Social links: straight through to Radiesse’s Instagram and Facebook
  • Share buttons in the brand style: the agency’s mockups called for single-colour buttons, not the usual multicoloured icons, so we changed our software to match two days before load-in
  • No logins: guests got their photo by text, email or QR without signing in to anything, which kept the line moving

We sent the agency a live sample link four days before the event and turned the final round of changes around the same day.

Results

These figures come straight from our booth software, across the Thursday load-in and content shoot and the summit day:

  • 201 photo sessions
  • 138 prints picked up from the wall
  • 53 photos sent by text, with 45 of those messages opened
  • 77 QR code scans
  • 169 landing page views and 132 photo downloads

The landing page kept working after the event. Guests were still opening their photos two weeks later, and every one of those visits was another look at the Radiesse brand.

What made it work

The set was designed around the hardware from day one. Exact measurements early meant no surprises at load-in, and the print slot worked the first time.

The software bent to the brand. Because the booth runs on our own software, the share buttons, landing page and flow could follow the agency’s mockups instead of a vendor’s defaults.

Someone was always on site. We installed the mirror early Thursday, in time for the brand team’s content shoot that evening, and supported the booth from doors to strike on summit day.

Planning your own brand activation?

Whether your agency is building the set or you need the whole experience, we can put a mirror booth, AI photo booth or something custom at the centre of it, with a landing page in your brand colours. See more of our brand activation photo booths, or tell us about your event.
